Rythm of Your Soul

Nov 18, 2018 - Dec 30, 2018

Rhythm of Your Soul (RYS) is a transformation that takes place through movement. It can be a freeing journey or a place to sit and relax.

Some come to ecstatically flow with the music, others come just to stretch and share in the vibe with like-minded people, and others still lay down a mat to stretch or meditate.

There are no rules or instructions, just follow whatever your body feels and express your soul’s passion!

No experience is required, and you need not be gifted with impeccable rhythm to come out and enjoy. RYS isn’t about looking cool, it’s about moving however your body and soul want to move to celebrate and release.

RYS is an uplifting, ultra-supportive, and judgement-free environment for a diverse group coming from many backgrounds… people who you may soon call friends.

*Regularly stretching can assist in correcting muscle imbalances. Benefits include:

-Muscle relaxation: SMR helps reduce and eliminate stored tension in muscles, which aids in alleviating aches and pains.

-Suppression or reduction of trigger point sensitivity and pain: SMR promotes the release of endorphins to help reduce pain.

-Reduced soreness and improved tissue recovery: SMR increases circulation, allowing oxygen and other nutrients to reach the muscles and other soft tissues.

-Improved joint range of motion, which helps restore optimal length-tension relationships: SMR helps prepare joints for increased range of motion and loads that accompany stretching, strengthening and other dynamic movement exercises.

-Reduced adhesions and scar tissue that improves the elasticity of muscles and other soft tissues, to improve movement and reduce pain.

-Regulation of the production of compounds called cytokines, which play a role in decreasing inflammation.

-Increased activity in the mitochondria of cells, helping promote repair and growth of muscle tissue.

-Improved neuromuscular efficiency.

-Decreased neuromuscular hypertonicity.

-Decreased overall effects of stress on the human movement system.

Sevenfold Journey: Chakra Balance

Nov 21, 2018 - Dec 26, 2018

We’ll take an in-depth look at our energy systems using an interactive learning experience. We’ll show how to open, balance, and energize the chakric system.

Did you know that there are more than 100 chakras located in the human body and it’s energy field? Chakras are the invisible energy centers of the body. Here in the west, we deal mostly with the 7 main chakras located on the spine. Each of these energy centers are associated with different aspects of life, how we relate with others and the world around us.

When our systems are out of balance we feel tired, anxious depressed, or threatened. These are the source of dis-ease. When we balance and open our systems energy can move and flow freely. Profoundly positive changes can occur in our lives.

Please join us on this rare opportunity in the United States on a journey through your lower power centers, commonly known as the Chakras.

We will explore the sacred temple of our body, learning skills for grounding and rooting ourselves in the earth, connecting with ourselves and others and reclaiming our personal power and will.

Trauma (any feeling of helplessness) and life struggles can greatly restrict the energy and vitality that flows from these centers, showing up as fatigue, lack of passion and longing for a stronger connection to ourselves.

Drawing on the healing power of Biodynamic Breathwork with the additional support of Chinese medicine, bioenergetics, meditation and more we will move into our centers and learn ways to restore and heal old wounds.

Designed for healers of all types who wish to learn new skills, as well as laypeople in the process of their own healing journey.

BioDynamic Breath & Trauma Release is built on a new approach to trauma release, utilizing breath, conscious movement, sound, touch, and non-cathartic emotional release techniques as its foundation.

This experiential workshop is designed to gently raise awareness and release mental, emotional and physical tensions down to your core. It enables you to experience the full range of sensations and emotions available as a human being, while expanding your capacity to contain and support the free flow of life-force energy.

Workshop Topics:

- An understanding of the lower Chakras and childhood development

- Birth trauma

- Adrenal support and self-care

- Fundamentals of grounding work and bio-energetic exercises

- Exploration of our Chakras and body-oriented techniques for healing difficulties

- BioDynamic breath sessions & techniques

- Core Trauma & Tension Release Exercises (CTRE)

- Acupressure points to support energetic release and rejuvenation

- Active meditations

UBU Today is so grateful that this gift will be available for those that choose to invest in themselves.

This transformational modality “frees” vital energy and restores flow from mostly unconscious blocks that are held in the cellular memory of our bodies and hinder or block completely, the free flow of vital “life” energy.

Giten Tonkov’s (Founder) website is also a great resource for additional information related to the BBTR modality:
